"On April 17, we had arrested a CAPD employee, who on questioning revealed that he had hoarded 118 bags of CAPD sugar in a private shed, following which we raided that place yesterday and recovered the sugar," Station House officer (SHO) Gandoh Tariq Naik said.
A CAPD storekeeper was arrested on April 17 for dumping 501 quintals of government ration in two private shops, he said.
A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is underway. More recoveries are expected in the days to come, the SHO said.
