"Twelve patients reached Pokaran Hospital last evening for treatment and informed the authorities following which a team was dispatched to the place where they had consumed water," Deputy Chief Medical and Health Officer M D Soni said.
"We have collected food and water samples. The patients were given medicines and primary treatment," he added.
Around 10 persons were also given medicines at the fair site, situated about 12 kms to the north of Pokhran.
No fresh case of sickness has been registered today.
