12 injured during Muharram processions

At least 12 people were injured when a 'tazia' came in contact with a high-tension wire passing overhead at the Khutehna crossing in Payagpur area here, the police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when 'tazias', taken out in a procession on Muharram, touched the wire.
The injured were admitted to a hospital where the condition of five, including a 6-year-old boy was serious, the police said.
Some others in the procession also sustained minor injuries as people started running in confusion, they said.
