12 injured in fire from LPG cylinder explosion

At least 12 persons were injured in a fire trigerred by the explosion of a cooking gas cylinder at Park Circus area in the eastern part of the metropolis today.
Police said the cylinder exploded at a premises in Tiljala Road near Park Circus railway station and all the injured were taken to Chittaranjan National Medical College for treatment.
One fire engine was sent to the spot and controlled the blaze, fire brigade sources said.
