During routine checking, police stopped a vehicle at Exhibition Ground near the Press Club here this afternoon, SHO (Nowabad) Jaipal Sharma said.
Ten kgs of cannabis were found in the vehicle when it was thoroughly searched, he said, adding Vinod Kumar and Saif Ali were arrested in this connection.
The vehicle was impounded and a case under the NDPS Act slapped on the duo, the SHO said.
In another incident, some two kgs of cannabis were seized from a hotel in Doda district on Saturday, police said.
