12 killed, over 30 injured in accident in China
Press Trust of India Beijing At least 12 people have been killed and 30 others injured when a bus collided with a truck in China's northern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, officials said today.
The accident took place late yesterday in Yakeshi city, administered by Hulunbuir city, the government of Hulunbuir said in a statement.
Eight people died on the spot and 30 others were injured in the accident. Four others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.
The truck was trying to avoid a horse that dashed onto the road when the collision happened, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Further investigations in to the case are going on.
