12 minors being trafficked to Mumbai from Assam rescued

Atleast 12 minor girls and boys were today rescued from a train at Rangia station when they were allegedly being trafficked to Mumbai, following which two persons were arrested, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Railway Protection Force personnel rescued the 12 minors from Dn Kamakhya- Dekargaon Intercity Express at the Rangia railway station, they said.
Two persons, Shanti Munda Boro and Gunadhar Nath, who were taking the minors to Mumbai, were arrested, police added.
