12-year-old escapes from kidnappers

A 12-year-old boy, who was allegedly kidnapped by four men this morning at Ballabgarh here, managed to escape from his abductors.
Saurav Agrawal, a class VII student in sector-3 of Ballabgarh was abducted by four men in a car while the child was on his way to school in a bicycle, ASI Madanlal said.
The boy was dragged by the assailants inside a vehicle, he said.
However, Saurav managed to escape and reached a wine shop near Sahupura village, police said, adding that the shop owner informed the child's father who rushed to the spot and picked up the child.

The child has not been able to provide us with the information regarding the kidnappers or the way he escaped, Madanlal said.
A case has been registered with Police Station Sector-7 under section 365 of IPC, he said, adding the matter is being investigated.
