The minor girl's ordeal came to light when on July 1 her sister-in-law caught the accused, Pradeep, attempting to rape her on the terrace of her house, they said.
Based on the complaint filed by the girl's sister-in-law, an FIR was registered against Pradeep at Loni Police station.
"The girl told the police that Pradeep had raped her several times during the last one-and-a-half months. She also said that the accused used to force her to watch porn films on his mobile phone before raping her," a police officer said.
"On hearing the girl's cry for help, the sister-in-law, who was at the ground floor, went to the terrace to check. On seeing victim's sister-in-law, Pradeep fled away from the spot," the officer said.
"The girl has been medically examined, the report of which is now awaited," he said, adding, police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
