In the first case, seven gold biscuits weighing 817 gms were seized from a passenger who arrived in a flight from Sharjah, a senior Customs official said.
The flyer was arrested and produced before a court.
In another case, gold biscuits weighing 2.8 kgs were found concealed under the seat of a plane that arrived from Dubai on its way to Visakhapatnam, he said.
"Six gold biscuits weighing 2.8 kgs were found left behind concealed beneath a seat of the plane. There was no claimant for the same. We are investigating who brought this gold," the official said.
