13-yr-old boy beaten to death by classmates in UP

A 13-year-old boy was today allegedly beaten to death by his classmates in Gaurabadshapur here, police said.
Altamus, a IX class student of Gramoday Inter College, had an altercation with his classmates after which he was brutally beaten on the college premises, they said.
College authorities rushed the victim to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, police said.
The boy's father has lodged a police complaint.
His family members threatened to stage protest but were dispersed after they were assured of proper investigation.
The body has been sent for postmortem, they added.
