The villagers nabbed one of the accused, Ashish Bhati of Vair village, and handed him over to police, Superintendent of Police (rural) Abhishek Yadav said.
The victim was sent for medical examination.
The girl was kidnapped from the Tappal Road market yesterday in broad day light and taken to Yamuna Expressway Sabota interchange. The accused then took her to a sugarcane field where they took turns to rape her.
The victim's relatives alleged that there was no woman police official when the girl was taken by the police. They claimed that policemen did not allow them to meet her for a few hours.
Police were searching for the absconding accused.
