Fourteen persons were arrested after police raided a hotel here and recovered stake money of Rs 4.06 lakh from their possession.
Acting on a specific information, police last evening conducted a raid on Hotel Login at Shaheedi Chowk here and arrested fourteen persons along with Rs 4,06,770 stake money and playing cards, police said.
The manager of the hotel was also arrested along with the 13 others, they said.
A pistol and live cartridges were also recovered from the possession of one of the accused, they said.
A case has been registered against the accused at City Police Station, they said, adding that an investigation has been initiated.
