Telangana IT, Electronics and Communication department secretary Jayesh Ranjan flagged off the 10K Run at the Hitex Exhibition Center, while Jitender, Additional Commissioner of Police - Traffic, flagged off the full marathon (42.195 kms) and half marathon (21.095 kms) at People's Plaza, Necklace Road, a release from Airtel said.
Jyoti Gawate and Bhanupratap Singh stood first in the full marathon under the 'Elite Indian' category and won a fully paid trip to the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon sponsored by Shriram Life Insurance, it said.
Murali Nannapaneni, Race Director - Airtel Hyderabad Marathon, said, "It's a proud moment for all Hyderabadis as the Airtel Hyderabad Marathon is reaching great heights year-on-year".
