15 held for red sanders' smuggling in AP

Police today arrested fifteen persons suspected to be involved in smuggling of red sandalwood at Chennamukkapalli in the district.
Police seized 15 logs of the precious wood during the operation, said Mydukur (Rural) Circle Inspector Nagabhusanam.
Police swooped on the men along KC canal when they were transporting the logs, he said.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation in on.
