15 militants killed in Pakistan

At least 15 suspected militants were killed and one injured today after Pakistan's security forces repelled a major militant attack in Kurram tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
"The militants attacked the Shabuk security checkpost in Kurram Agency injuring one soldier," officials said.
The security forces responded to the attack with retaliatory firing killing at least 15 attackers while the others fled back to Afghanistan.
