The incident took place at Samar village under Sadalpur Police Station of the district. The seriously injured persons were referred to Indore for further treatment.
Family members of Islamuddin and Jabbar, both residents of the village, clashed over a piece of land and giving way to others to pass from that area, Superintendent of Police Bhagwant Singh Chouhan told reporters.
During the clash, both groups attacked each other with sharp-edged weapons leaving 15 people from the two families injured, the SP added.
