"The Government of India has sent a list of 16 addresses to the district administration to confirm whether they belong to Visakhapatnam district, and the administration has confirmed that 15 persons are stranded in Iraq," District Revenue Officer (DRO) M. Venkateswara Rao told PTI here.
Rao said that the district administration noticed that one of the 16 names sent by the Centre was repeated.
"The Centre had instructed the district collector to gather details of these people through tehsildars, so that it can take necessary steps to bring them back home," Rao said.
