According to police, a team of Crime Branch officials laid a trap on a tip off and apprehended Suresh Chand Yadav (47) and Sanjay Kumar (37) allegedly with 16 kg of Ketamine.
They have allegedly been indulging in smuggling and distribution of fine quality Ketamine, a psychotropic substance used in high profile rave parties in Delhi.
Ketamine is a prescribed intravenous drug used as anesthesia in human and veterinary medicine. It is, however, often exploited as recreational drug.
The arrested duo have also been smuggling Ketamine to Malaysia and Canada, claimed the police.
Sources said Ketamine has huge market in foreign countries and drug peddlers here often try to smuggle it out to make easy money.
