was recovered from a well near Sangariya village of Jhalawar district, about 80 kms from here, with her parents claiming that she was raped and murdered, police said today.
The Class X student belonging to OBC was found dead yesterday evening, Station House Officer, Sunael police station, Hukum Chand said.
On a complaint by her parents, a case of rape and murder has been lodged against a youth, Azad Mansuri, who was last seen with her, Chand said, adding that he is absconding after the incident.
The victim's body was sent for postmortem this morning, following which it was handed over to her family for last rites, he said.
The matter is being probed and efforts are on to nab Mansuri, he said.
