Monica Meena (17), a resident of Sawai Madhopur, fell down from the third floor of her hostel when she was talking on her mobile phone. While strolling to-and-fro, she lost balance and fell down and died on the spot last evening, ASI, Kunadhi police station, Shokat Ali said.
He ruled out any attempt to suicide.
The body has been handed over to the family members after postmortem.
The incident has raised questions over the security and safety measures attached with the hostels in the city.
