18-year-old boy commits suicide by setting himself on fire

An 18 year-old boy allegedly committed suicide here by setting himself on fire after he was scolded by his mother, police said today.
Sabir was scolded by his mother for returning late and in a fit of rage he sprinkled kerosene and set himself ablaze, police said.
The fire soon engulfed the entire room where wool and other material was stored, injuring his three-year-old brother who was also present, police said, adding that Sabir was rushed to Varanasi where he died this morning.
The younger brother was undergoing treatment, police added.
