The 18-year-old girl, working at a cosmetic shop in the district, was introduced by a friend to Deepak, 23, who works as a security at a Delhi hospital, police said.
According to the girl's complaint, on March 18 Deepak promised to marry her and then raped her and again raped her from April 4 to 10, Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Narinder Singh said.
However, Deepak, a resident of Palwal, reneged on his promise yesterday.
Accordingly a complaint was registered with Police Station Ballabgarh in Faridabad against the accused under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, he said.
