The incident came to light today morning, when locals discovered the body of the teenager, identified as Monu, lying near a rickshaw stand in the locality and informed the police, a police official said.
During investigation, it emerged that Monu had an argument with another 24-year-old youth, identified as Akash, yesterday night.
Monu was reported to be standing near Akash's car, talking to a friend, parked in the locality.
Akash suddenly approached them and started alleging that they had broken the window of his car, leading to an argument, said a police official.
A case of murder has been registered and a police team is searching potential whereabouts of Akash, police added.
