recovered 19 powerful bombs from an agricultural field in Kishanganj district of the state.
Kishanganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Rajeev Ranjan said the field from where the bombs were seized is located at Bhatagachh village under Pothia police station.
"Last night there was a dacoity at the house of one Panibala Baba alias Govind Baba under Chopra police station in West Bengal, just across the Bihar border. It seems the dacoits left the bombs in the field while escaping after the crime," Ranjan said.
The SP added that the place where the bombs were found is around 1.5 kilometres from the place of dacoity.
