2,000 businessmen expected at MP's investors summit

Around 2,000 businessmen across 85 countries are expected to take part in the two-day Global Investors Summit beginning here on October 22, a senior government official said today.
The event will aim to showcase the strengths and industrial prowess of Madhya Pradesh and provide a global platform for interaction with Indian industry leaders, policy makers, investors and other stakeholders.
The summit is being organised by Madhya Pradesh Government.
Around 2,000 businessmen from 85 countries are likely to take part in the meet, MP Trade and Investors Facilitator Corporation Managing Director DP Ahuja told local businessmen.
Started in October 2007, Global Investors Summit (GIS) is a flagship investment promotion event of the state government.
Agribusiness and food processing, pharma, automobile and engineering, IT/ITes, new and renewable energy, tourism and urban development are some of the focus sectors of the 5th edition of the mega event.
