2 arrested; 29 Kg opium seized in Sirsa

Sleuths of Narcotics Control Bureau arrested two brothers from Sirsa district of Haryana and recovered 29 Kg of opium from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Sukhbir Singh alias Sukha and his younger brother Lakhbir Singh, a spokesperson of NCB said here today.
The duo was dealing in opium and other contraband and involved in selling the same to their various customers in Sirsa, Dabwali, and Punjab, he said.
The two were arrested yesterday in an operation by NCB sleuths, following a tip-off.
