Two persons have been arrested for allegedly being involved in several robbery and snatching cases, the Delhi police said today.
A woman filed a police complaint on May 4 stating that she was thrashed and looted by two persons in Mayur Vihar, while she was going to her school, they said.
A case of robbery was registered and investigation was initiated following which Pramod and Rahul were arrested, the police said.
During interrogation, it was revealed that Pramod was released from prison in March. He and Rahul were actively involved in robbery and snatching incidents in east and northeast Delhi," a release from the Delhi police said.
Three mobile phones, three vehicles were seized from the accused, the police said and claimed to have worked out 11 cases of car theft, snatching and robbery.
