Liu Xiao Long, in his application to the interior ministry, has alleged that Ishtiaq Ali thrashed him and another Chinese man on Sunday in Islamabad's F-7 sector.
Liu claimed that he had entered into a deal with Ali and they set up a hotel. He paid Rs one million as security deposit to his Pakistani partner.
However, when the business did not succeed as per the expectations, Ali got furious, he said.
Liu said Ali on Sunday came with a group of men and beat him up. They also assaulted a Chinese businessman Liu-Weixing staying in their hotel.
Ali allegedly threw Long out of the premises and refused to pay back the security deposit.
Police have lodged an FIR in this connection.
Chinese are coming in big numbers to Pakistan to reap the benefit of business opportunities offered by USD 50 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
