"'Jaipur by Nite', the event would kick-off from July 26 and would promote Jaipur as a tourism, craft, and shopping destinations by way of a gala festival," Diya Kumari, former princess of Jaipur royals family and brand ambassador of the event, told reporters today.
"There is a paucity of tourists during the summer months, and this eventful occasion would attract domestic tourists to the city," she said, adding hundreds of artists, and a few Bollywood stars would glitter at the events.
Rakesh Srivastava, Principal Secretary of the state Tourism Department, said, "The event is an earnest attempt to give a fillip to summer tourism in the city of Jaipur as it would showcase Rajasthan's art, culture, handicrafts and cuisines to the domestic tourists.
