To be held on January 14-15 in association with Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA), it will provide BYPL (BSES Yamuna) customers residing in east and central Delhi an opportunity to settle their power theft cases amicably.
"Over 31,000 letters and notices have been sent to BYPL customers and litigants with regards to the Lok Adalat. Of these, the maximum number of cases is from Daryaganj division.
"This is followed by Yamuna Vihar, GT Nagar, Paharganj, Nand Nagri and Chandni Chowk divisions. These are cases related to both Direct Theft (DT) and Meter Tampering (DAE)," a BSES statement said.
