2 drug peddlers get 5-year imprisonment

A local court today sentenced two drug peddlers to five years of rigorous imprisonment.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 each on convicts Amanpreet Singh, and Gurlal Singh.
Police had arrested the duo on October 13, 2008 during routine checking and recovered 2.24 kg of opium from their vehicle.
