Rahul Yadav and Jitendra Joshi were arrested last night from Iffco Chowk during vehicle checking.
They had abducted Sandarbh Kohli with his car on May 23 after his car broke down. The accused took him to Rajasthan's Pali district and released him there.
"Both the accused are graduate with Rahul also having a Bachelors of Education. They are into gambling and had huge debt to pay for which they hatched a plan to abduct someone," Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Saharan told PTI.
"It is suspected that they could be involved in other abduction and robbery cases. We are interrogating them," Saharan said.
Police said Kohli was returning to his residence in Delhi when he was kidnapped by the accused at gunpoint.
"They took his ATM cards and withdrew Rs two lakh cash at sector 14 Gurgaon ATM and some other places in Rajasthan.
Since, Kohli's mobile phone, which was registered with the bank, was left at home his family members got message alerts of huge withdrawal.
The police teams later tracked the location of Kohli with the help of Call Details Record (CDR) and found him from a village in Rajasthan on MAY 24.
