2 kids run over by tractor trolley; locals lynch labourer duo

Two children were today crushed to death here under the wheels of a tractor trolley following which irate locals thrashed the driver and the occupants of the vehicle, leaving two labourers dead.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Alok Kumar Singh, two boys -- one aged three years and the other six years old -- were run over by the vehicle that was laden with bricks at Telbigha village. The children were at play when the mishap occurred.
Following the tragedy, irate locals torched the tractor trolley and thrashed the driver and two labourers who were travelling in the vehicle, the DSP said.

The two labourers were critically injured and taken to Anugrah Narain Magadh Medical College and Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries, Singh said, adding that the condition of the tractor driver is critical.
