The incident took place at Budhape village under the jurisdiction of Singheshwar police station.
The speeding truck lost control, rammed into a roadside house and killed 25-year-old Sulekha Devi and Shanti Kumari (10), Madhepura Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Sanjay Kumar Nirala said.
While Sulekha Devi and Shanti Kumari died on the spot, another family member received serious injuries, he said.
The injured person was admitted to Sadar hospital, Nirala added.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, he said.
