2 killed in floods in China

Two persons were killed and three others went missing after floods hit northwest China's Qinghai Province.
Downpours battered Hualong Hui Autonomous County of Haidong City yesterday.
Rain-triggered floods washed away six workers at a construction site, according to the city's meteorological station.
One of the workers has been rescued, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Rescue work and investigation into the accident are under way, it said.
