Two Maoist militia members were captured by BSF personnel from Nuagurha area of Odisha's Malkangiri district, BSF sources said today.
Acting on a specific information, a BSF team carried out a search operation and apprehended the duo near village Nuagurha yesterday.
During questioning, the two gave their identity as Gourang Hantal and Budu Khara, both aged around 31 years and residents of Ghanabeda under the jurisdiction of Chitrakonda police station, they said.
The two confessed that they had helped the red rebels in organising meetings and providing them logistic support.
The apprehended militia members have been handed over to the police and were arrested.
