They would lure people with attractive deals and take them to Mewat where they would beat them and rob them at gunpoint, Inspector Crime Branch, Gurgaon, Bijinder Singh said.
The police received a specific input that two Mewati gang members were spotted near Damdama Lake at Sohna, and we formed a team and nabbed them, he said.
They were identified as Irfan and Rajesh of Mewat, Singh said.
A case has been registered in Sadar Police Station and police is carrying out raids to arrest other members of the gang.
