2 minors raped in Bihar

Two minors were allegedly raped in separate incidents in two districts of Bihar today.
A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at Subhai village under Hajipur Sadar police station in Vaishali district, Sadar Station House Officer (SHO) Sunil Kumar said.
The traumatised girl has been hospitalised in serious condition in the government hospital there and a medical test will be done on her, Kumar said.
The minor was alone at her house as her mother had gone to cut grass for cattle fodder, when the accused neighbour Krishna Kumar barged into her house and raped her, the SHO said quoting the FIR.

The accused is absconding.
In the other incident, a minor girl was allegedly raped at Kawalsia village under Falka police station in Katihar district.

Falka SHO Satyanarayan Rai said a 35-year-old man Bihari Mahto of the same village was named an accused in the case.
The girl had gone out to the agricultural field on the outskirts of the village, when the accused raped her.
"Villagers rushed to the place after hearing her screams, but Mahto escaped from the spot," Rai added.
The SHO said that an FIR has been registered and the girl has been sent to government hospital for medical examination. Raids are on to nab Mahto.
