2 Nepali passengers killed in bus-container collision

Two Nepali passengers were killed and around 17 others injured after the Uttarakhand roadway bus they were traveling in collided with a container on the NH-530 here today.
The bus, that was on its way to Shimla from Rupiyadeeh on the Nepal border, met with the accident near Thiriya Khetal toll plaza this morning, SP Rural, B K Srivastava said.
The deceased have been identified as Harkala Singh (18) and Sangeeta (24), both hailing from Jhanjhar district, he said, adding that the duo died on the spot.
As many as 17 other passengers were injured in the mishap and admitted to a hospital, the SP added.
