Two people were killed Sunday when their motorcycle was hit by a truck at Khatoli town here, police said.
Anil Kumar (28) and Shiv Kumar (27), sugar mill workers, were crushed to death by the truck when they were returning home from work, Circle Officer Rajive Kumar said.
The truck driver fled from the spot after the accident, Kumar said.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem, he added.
