Superintendent of Police Abdul Hameed said that Ram Suresh was called at Satrikh police station for interrogation in connection with a murder case in Gehdawar village on May 23.
Ram Suresh's wife Kaushalya also came with him, he said, adding that Suresh left the police station complaining of stomach ache and took some medicine from a doctor.
Suresh's stopped at a hotel and asked for water where his condition deteriorated, the SP said.
On Kaushalya's complaint, a case has been lodged against two policemen Amar Bahadur and Ram Gopal posted at Satrikh police station and they have been sent to police lines so that investigation was not affected, Hameed said.
However, the post mortem report has not indicated towards any physical injury and there was suspicion that Suresh might have died of heart attack, the SP said.
