The two, security guards, identified as Ram Kishore and Rupesh Kumar Singh, were on duty when they noticed a woman on the 11th floor of the West End mall trying to commit suicide by jumping off the balcony. The guards rushed to the spot and caught her before she could take a leap, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Ranvir Singh.
The woman was then taken to Janakpuri police station and handed over to her guardians, he said.
In August last year, a 25-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping off the 12th floor of the mall. A technician working in the mall was also injured as she fell on top of him on the ground floor.
