2 students' groups exchange fire

Panic gripped the area outside civil hospital here when members of two students' groups exchanged fire following a verbal dual over some issue.
However, no one was hurt in the incident.
A group of students were standing outside the civil hospital, few meters away from Guru Nanak college, who were challenged by an another group, police said.
Following heated arguments over some issue, members of both the groups started firing at each other.
Bullets broke some windows panes of the adjoining restaurant, police added.
Later, a police team arrived at the spot following which the miscreants fled from the spot.

A case under various sections of IPC and Arms Act has been registered against some persons, police said.
