2 students injured in electric shock in school

Two students were injured today after accidentally touching an iron platform, in which electricity was flowing, in school premises at a village near here, police said.
The incident took place an hour before the closure of the school in Dhurkot Ransien village, they said, adding that the children were safe.
Some workers were doing some electric work in the school premises when the children accidentally touched the platform used for the purpose, they said.
After medical examination they were discharged from the local hospital, they said.
A case has been registered in this connection, they said, adding that an investigation is underway.
