Two-time Congress MP and sitting MLA from Deeg-Kumher, Vishwendra Singh, today met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat here, setting off speculation about his future political alignments.
But Rajasthan BJP president Ashok Parnami said he was not aware about the meeting.
Singh also sought to play down the meeting saying it was personal.
"I was invited by RSS chief Bhagwat over a breakfast here in Mukherjee Nagar, hence I with my wife Divya Singh (former BJP MP from Bharatpur) visited him and stayed there for over one hour.
"It was a personal meeting with Bhagwatji as we talked on history of Bharatpur state including some monuments and warriors...It was not a political meeting," he said.
Vishwendra had joined the Gurjar agitation during Raje's first tenure.
When asked about his future plans, he said, "I am a dedicated Congressman and do not even think of BJP...I do not know why TV news channels are getting wrong impression of my personal visit."
Coming out of RSS's coordination meeting at Adarsh Vidhya Mandir in Keshwav Nagar here, state BJP chief Parnami said," I have no idea who met whom."
RSS prant pracharak, Shiv Lahri, said that Vishwendraji with his wife did meet RSS Sar Sangh Chalak but denied to divulge any other information communicated between them.
