2 UP police constables suspended for raping, robbing woman

Two police constables were today placed under suspension, a day after a 30-year-old woman alleged that she was robbed and raped by them in Shamli district.
Constables Vivek and Deepak Rathi posted at Gangeru police post have been suspended, a police officer said.
A 30-year-old woman yesterday alleged that the accused had barged into her house for loot and raped her, on the basis of which an FIR was registered against them at Kandhla police station, police said. Further investigations were on.
