21,000 police constables recruited: Parameshwara

Government has filled 21,000 vacancies of police constables and would take steps to recruit 4,000 more, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said today.
Training of the recruited constables was underway, Parameshwara told reporters here.
To a query, he said there is no review system of service track record for IPS officers in the state like the one in Delhi.
However, the same will be thought of for implementation in Karnataka, he said.
