21 high-tech 'raths' for Cong poll campaign in Hry flagged off

Twenty one high-tech 'raths', carrying advertisements and publicity material for launching poll campaign in all the districts of Haryana, were flagged off from here today.
The high-tech vehicles were flagged off from the Haryana Congress' headquarters here by Haryana Congress Election Campaign Committee Chairman Ajay Singh Yadav, Committee Co-Chairperson Kiran Choudhary in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and party's state unit chief Ashok Tanwar, .
Yadav, the six-time MLA from Rewari, said the poll campaign would be carried forward under the supervision of the districts incharges', who have already been nominated for this purpose.
The vehicles carry the pictures of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Vice President Rahul Gandhi, Shakeel Ahmed, Hooda, Ajay Yadav, Tanwar and Naveen Jindal among others.
The vehicles are fitted with high-tech audio-visual gadgets, and short messages, like the development undertaken by the Congress government, have been pasted on either side of the 'raths'.
Recorded speeches of the party's leaders will also be played out through these vehicles in different districts and voters will also be apprised with the development works carried out by the present regime while various achievements of the state government will also be highlighted.
Polls in Haryana are due next month. Ruling Congress is eyeing to retain the power for a third consecutive term in the state.
