Government is likely to table as many as 25 reports of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, including those related to rigs in ONGC, Mid Day Meal scheme and Railways, in the ongoing winter session of Parliament.
"We have submitted a total of 25 reports. We hope all the reports to be presented, but not sure how many of them will come up actually," CAG Shashi Kant Sharma said today on the sidelines of a photo exhibition.
A senior official said this session's report will focus extensively on performance audit on utilisation on rigs in ONGC.
The government auditor, the official said, has "done the performance audit on utilisation of rigs in the Oil & Natural Gas Corp (ONGC). It is mainly on how rig operations are conducted and the discrepancies observed."
The other reports include, Performance Audit of Hydrocarbon Exploration Efforts Oil India Ltd, Public Private Partnership Projects in Major Ports, Ongoing Projects of Indian Railways and Performance Audit on Land Management in Major Ports.
The CAG has also submitted reports on Distribution and Utilisation of Safety items in Indian Railways, Procurement and Milling of Paddy for Central Pool and Audit report of Army, Ordinance Factories and Defense PSUs among others.
Earlier Sharma inaugurated the photo exhibition of Additional Deputy CAG Ashwini Attri.
In his first ever solo exhibition -- Third Eye -- Attri's work on display included nature, monuments, flora & fauna, candid moments, buildings and lightings.
